Matt & Rob's Big Trek

Buenos dias a todo el mundo!

Glad you could join me for this little adventure of ours that will (hopefully) take us to Buenos Aires and Patagonia, to Chile, the Andes, the Atacama desert, Bolivia and Peru. ‘Us’ is Matt Ashby and Rob Black, me being the latter of the two, and the hopefully is there because, quite frankly, we are possibly the least prepared explorers in the history of the chuffing game. You may or may not be aware that this trip was originally planned for the North half of these here Americas but a lack of homework and a spot of yank officiousness meant our charitable intentions to raise money (this is all for the Association of International Cancer Research if you did not come from our Just Giving page: http://www.justgiving.com/AshbyandBlackDoOne – or go to the ‘Feelgood’ link on the left : ) was a great big shot at our own feet and we were refused a visa, so in great haste we have come up with this little jaunt around the South, so that we might still do something a little ‘out there’ whilst revelling in latin american

So, here it is. Hope you enjoy it. I hope I enjoy it more than you. As we will mostly be camping this might not be updated as often as I’d like but I will wherever possible and with any luck there will be some hilarity (not the hindsight kind all the time please God. I want some genuine on-the-spot hilarity that doesn’t involve having a shit time but laughing about it later. You and I know I’ve had my fill of those).
